Container terminal
The Port of Belgrade as an important Transportation and Goods Center with its high level of technology and built capacity, plays an important role in the development and application of the multimodal transportation system. The container terminals have a special place for the implementation of the multimodal transportation system.
The container terminal of the Port of Belgrade interconnects all terminals thry Transeuropean waterway North Sea-Black Sea, and, using the other means of transportation, provides links to other continental destinations.
The container terminal of the Port of Belgrade, in addition to mechanization needed for container operations, provides the service for the repair and general overhaul of the containers. This service is based upon normative and technology determined by the I.I.C.L. standard. The repair of the container s is possible either directly in the open air or in the closed space.
