Reederei Hans Peterson & Söhne. Nowadays, as would be expected, it is completely logical that the third generation of the family is gradually taking over the leadership of the company. For some years now, with the encouragement of their respective fathers, Ms. Stephanie Peterson, a trained banker, has looked after the financial department, whilst Ms. Martina Peterson, a qualified shipbroker and a member of the ‘Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers’, has been in charge of the employment of the vessels. More recently, in September 2001, Mr. Stefan Rother also joined the management of the company as a Managing Director. Mr Rother had previously worked his way up as a professional marine engineer and so is especially well experienced in the practical side of ship management. It is already quite clear now that this talented, balanced and efficient new team will continue to develop the company in the future in the same safe, reliable and visionary tradition as their forbears.
