European Air Ambulance is a high quality service provider for worldwide Air Ambulance repatriation. Its founding members are DRF Luftrettung and LAR (Ducair).
Together, DRF Luftrettung and LAR boast a record of 40 successful years of medical repatriation from over 150 countries worldwide, giving EAA one of the broadest experience bases in the Air Ambulance industry. EAA can also rely on a dense network of international co-operation agreements, which ensures speedy and smooth execution of intensive care transports with bed-to-bed service.
By combining the strengths of DRF Luftrettung and LAR, European Air Ambulance also improves customer service by providing a single point of contact. Specialised, multi-lingual staff at the Mission Control Centre (MCC) in Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden in Germany can handle everything from quote to invoice via the safe delivery of the patient to the destination hospital.
The MCC coordinates a fleet of 6 Air Ambulance aircraft, 5 Learjets 35A and 1 Beechcraft King Air 200, all fitted with state-of-the-art medical equipment and supplies to ensure the best possible patient care in the air. These aircraft are based in Luxembourg (ELLX) and Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden (EDSB).
